New News: Hunter Show Dates Decided

I haven't posted here in a little while. I think I needed a bit of a break from all the craziness. 

But in the past couple days things about Matt are working their way back in. I was contacted by a student from MICA, who had been shown Matt's work at school and found out that he had passed away. I realized that this part of his life(undergraduate studies in Baltimore) probably didn't know what had happened. 

Since then I was contacted by a professor at MICA, who was also really upset to hear the news, and relayed what a great artist and person he was.

In other news, the dates and initial planning of Matt's memorial show have been decided. December 19, 2009

Hunter Studios, 450 W 41st Street, New York

The front room of the huge gallery space will be a memorial show of Matt's paintings at Hunter. The album release of his music will also be complete and available at the show.

It's gonna be great.

I can certainly vouch for Matt's affinity for Pandora. We used to make the most awful playlists at work between his interests and mine. Although I can say he renewed an appreciation for math rock.
